'Remembrance Caught on Camera' – 6th edition of the photography competition organized by the Warsaw Rising Museum

What matters is how you see and experience the anniversary of the Rising. Official ceremonies, concerts, social actions - the subject of your work can be anything that relates to the commemoration of the Warsaw Rising. Join the group of past competition winners, including both professional photographers and photography enthusiasts, and win valuable prizes.

Rules of the Photography Competition

You can win in two categories: 

• Single photo (each person can submit up to 6 photographs); 
• Photo report (each person can submit up to 2 photography series, including up to 6 photographs each). 

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in both categories.

In addition, the jury will select the Grand Prix winner of the competition, and there will also be a public internet award - everyone will be able to vote for their favourite photo.

We will select the photographs that reflect the commemorations of the 80^th anniversary of the Warsaw Rising in the most personal and creative manner.

The photos submitted to the competition will be assessed by members of the jury:

Martyna Wojciechowska (traveler, journalist, President of the UNAWEZA Foundation), Zbigniew Furman, Wojciech Grzędziński, Jacek Marczewski, Chris Niedenthal (professional photographers) and Jan Ołdakowski (director of the Warsaw Rising Museum).

Awards: 

• Grand Prix – 10 000 PLN; 
• First place – Fotoforma voucher worth 5 000 PLN for Canon products, 
• Second place – Fotoforma voucher worth 3 000 PLN for Canon products, 
• Third place – Sigma-sklep.pl voucher worth 1 500 PLN, 
• Public Vote award – Sigma-sklep.pl voucher worth 1 500 PLN.
